Alternative female pop artists definitely seem a dime a dozen these days, but all the ones that I enjoy just have something about their style that draws me in all the same, and Lennon Stella is one of them. She has an effortless voice and intriguing instrumentals, and I can't wait for her upcoming release, her very first full-length album, of which Jealous is one of the lead singles.

This track in particular was co-written with FINNEAS, Billie Eilish's older brother, co-writer, and producer. So, with some true talent behind the creation of the song, it's bound to be a hit.

The song is short and sweet, clocking in at barely two minutes, and it grooves with a samba-like beat and a catchy, descending chord progression (music nerd alert! I love weird chord inversions!!). Lennon makes light of an ex-lover who assumes that everything she does is to make him jealous... which, of course, isn't true, she's moved on just fine. You'll find yourself humming along in no time.

Happy listening!
