Harry Styles has truly broken the mold of his former musical roots in One Direction, the world-famous boy band that split in 2015. His solo career has skyrocketed him to a different level of stardom. Styles is respected for his musical style, his eclectic fashion sense, and huge live shows that sell out arenas.

This single from his latest release, Fine Line, is one of my favorite tracks he has put out. Fine Line is his second album as a solo artist, following his debut self-titled album from 2017. His first release was driven by a vintage rock influence, with stadium-worthy rock tunes that earned him respect and showcased his musical maturity and flair for the dramatic.

This time around, he takes a more 80's pop approach, with a song that sounds like driving a convertible around town under neon signs. The single rides along on groovy guitars and funky basslines, as well as infectious vocal leads and guitar solo outro. It's a timeless piece of pop that you can't help but dance to.
