Frozen PB&B Chai Recipe
Here's a tasty treat for you all while in quarantine! I've tried quite a few delicious chai drinks from my local coffee shops, so I decided to combine some of my favorite elements into one homemade drink. The PB&B stands for peanut butter and banana, and I hope y'all enjoy it as much as me and my family have been!
INGREDIENTS:
Chai tea base mix (I like Oregon Chai Slightly Sweet the best!)
Milk (regular, or almond/oat/soy for my fellow dairy-free people)
Banana (either ripe or frozen)
Peanut butter (to taste)
DIRECTIONS:
Make one serving of the chai tea – if you're using a concentrate like the Oregon Chai, it's just equal parts concentrate and milk, usually a ½ cup of each.
I like adding in a splash of my vanilla coffee creamer, just to give it some more creaminess and sweet flavor!
Add your liquid to the blender, then add your banana, scoop of peanut butter, and ice (if you're using frozen banana, you won't need very much added ice, but if your banana is fresh, I'd say a generous handful of ice is good).
Blend until smooth, then garnish with some cinnamon or nutmeg on top and serve!
